2022 'Only in Dreams' Chardonnay Pinot Grigio
Inspired by Weezer "Only in Dreams"
2022 presented some amazing new opportunities with a couple of new fruit parcels. This 2022 vintage started off life as a partial skin contact Pinot Grigio, it then evolved with an awesome batch of barrel fermented Chardonnay from a new source. The wines both went into 3+ year old French oak, 100% wild yeast. Then, loving both the wines, we chose to blend after 6 months in barrel, just before bottling, we love the result
TASTING NOTES
A brilliant onion skin colour showing the true colour of Pinot Grigio. Pretty floral notes on the nose with lots of yellow apples, yellow plums and a touch of hubba bubba bubble gum, the pink one! Texture and creaminess is the order of the day on the palate. Fun but food friendly, this is one to grab another glass of.
